Philippine government requires mining companies to get MOEP for ore exporting

It is reported that Philippine Chamber of Mines of the Philippines president Benjamin Philip G. Romualdez urged mining companies and traders to follow the government requirement to get permits for exporting. Mining companies and traders all need to get the mineral ore export permit (MOEP) from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) if they have to export all kinds of minerals and their products.
With the new policy, the government will establish a mechanism to monitor the products for exporting.
