NMDC plans to negotiate long term prices with its buyers
It's is reported that India largest ore miner National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) is planning to negotiate the long term prices with its foreign buyers including Korean Posco and some Japanese buyers..
One Indian government official said, "An Indian delegation including officials from NMDC and Ministries of Commerce and Steel would leave for a five-day visit to Japan and Korea from September 29 to finalise annual price and quantity of iron ore to be supplied to the steel mills there."NMDC exports about 3 million tons to the Japanese mills and 4 lakh tons to Posco.
