Vale sees rebound of iron ore demand in China

It’s reported that Vale predicted that iron ore demand in China would enter quick rebound due to long-term strong economy fundamentals and the stimulus package policy recently launched by the government."We expect Chinese demand (for iron ore) to rebound in the first half of 2009," said Marcio Borelli, director of Vale's ferrous metals planning strategy.

The recent 10 percent production cut is just provisional measure applying only to 2009, he added.
