Canada’s iron ore exports decline in October
Canada exported 1.734 million tons of iron ore in October, down by 42.3 percent compared to that of the same period last year. Moreover, Canada exported 23.509 million tons of iron ore in the first 10 months, up by year-on-year 3.1 percent.
Germany was the biggest export destination at 6.069 million tons, increased by year-on-year 29.3 percent. Shipments to America totaled 4.914 million tons, up by 11 percent from last year. China occupied 2.781 million tons, U.K. occupied 1.975 million tons, and France occupied 1.29 million tons.
