Iran's Gol-e-Gohar targets Chinese iron ore buyers

Iran’s Gol-e-Gohar has struck a deal to deliver iron ore concentrate with 67% Fe content at $78.80 per tonne fob Bandar Abbas in cash to a Chinese buyer . A contract for 600,000 tonnes of iron ore concentrate was signed between Gol-e-Gohar and the Chinese buyer after a December tender.

Two 70,000-tonne cargoes have already been dispatched and the balance will be dispatched in the near future. Gol-e-Gohar also signed a deal for 210,000 tonnes of iron ore fines with 61% Fe content at €37.15 per tonne fob Bandar Abbas in cash to China. The material is in the process of loading.

The Iranian miner is also shipping 185,000 tonnes of lump iron ore with Fe content of 60% at €30 per tonne fob Bandar Abbas in cash to China. The first shipment is in the process of loading in Bandar Abbas at present.
